A map presenting MTBE concentrations in groundwater is included as Figure 4,
attached.
Table 3; Laboratory A alytical Results ecember 28 2005
Other
B T E X TPH-G MTBE Oxygenates/
Additives
Detection 0.5 0.5 0.5 1.0 0.05 0.5 0.5-5.0
Limits: µg/L µg/L pg/L µg/L mg/L pg/L µg/L
Analytical Method: 8260B 8260E 8260B 8260B 8015M 8260B 8260B
Sample I.D. TPH-G=total petroleum hydrocarbons,quantified as gasoline.
MTBE=methyl tertiary-butyl ether.
Other oxygenatesladditives=ethanol(EtOH),tertiary-butanol(TBA),di-isopropyl ether(DIPS),
ethyl tertiary-butyl ether(ETBE), tertiary-amyl methyl ether(TAME), i,2-dichloroethane (1,2-
DCA),and 1,2-dibromoethane(EDB).
Laboratory analytical results indicate that BTEX constituents, gasoline oxygenates/additives other than
MTBE, and TPH-G were not detected at or above the laboratory reported detection limits in the
groundwater samples collected from the monitoring wells. MTBE was detected in the groundwater
samples collected from MW-9, MW-10, MW-11, and EW-1. MTBE was not detected at or above the
laboratory reported detection limit of 0.5 µg/L in the groundwater samples collected from MW-2, MW-3,
MW-4R, MW-6, MW-7, and MW-8.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Laboratory analytical results for the groundwater samples collected from the site monitoring wells on
nn nnnc -:_. ♦L F A Vrnu ,7..a.•..a-A ,s +.+;r.,o t,ol.,.s.fl,n f'ei;4nr.;o TlPnrfmanf
JJL'.{.:G111UG1 LU, LVVJ, LL1111lialV W1GL1111 LL lwa:; YVVV4V+ua VV++V vaaw ueavaw vvlc rr •++v +.+•+ice•+.+.++++.•••......
of Health Services Primary Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 13 µg/L in the groundwater samples
0
A %4t'.
s1 CONDOR
