FUTURE WORK/RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Implementation of proposed groundwater investigation activities to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent <br /> of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in groundwater up-gradient and down-gradient of the UST area <br /> using direct push boring methods were conducted in October 2003 consistent with the Additional <br /> Groundwater Investigation Work Plan, dated June 25, 2003, submitted to the SJCEHD and CRWQCB. <br /> Destruction of monitor wells MW-4 and MW-5, installation of a replacement monitor well for MW-4, <br /> and installation of a 4-inch extraction well were conducted in October 2003; a 72-hour constant rate pump <br /> test was conducted in November 2003. This work will be consistent with the Interim Remediation Work <br /> Plan, dated June 25, 2003, submitted to the SJCEHD and CRWQCB. A report of the groundwater <br /> investigation and pump test will be prepared by Condor for transmittal to the SJCEHD and CRWQCB. <br /> In addition, Condor recommends that quarterly groundwater monitoring continue at the site. Water levels <br /> in monitor wells MW-1 through MW-3 and MW-6 through MW-9 will continue to be measured on a <br /> monthly basis and groundwater samples will be collected for MTBE laboratory analysis through the <br /> month of December 2003, <br /> LIMITATIONS <br /> This report was prepared under the direct supervision of a Registered Geologist in the State of California. <br /> The standard of care for all services performed or furnished by Condor is commensurate with the care and <br /> skill ordinarily used by a member of the environmental profession practicing under similar conditions at <br /> the same time in the same locality.
