r
First Quarter Groundwater Monitoring.Report March 2003
Boyett Petroleum,419 S.Main,Manteca,CA
Page 6
direction from the USTs and fuel dispensing areas. The purpose of the deep borings is to collect
discrete depth groundwater samples to evaluate the vertical extent of groundwater contamination at
the site. The results of the investigation will be used in recommending the locations and depths of
additional groundwater monitor wells, if warranted.
➢ Conduct a door-to-door investigation of properties in the immediate arta of the site to attempt to
identify the presence of pumping wells in the site vicinity. A sensitive receptor survey (SRS) was
conducted on November 20, 2002 (Groundwater Monitoring Report, Third Quarter 2002, dated
January 16, 2003). No pumping wells were identified by the SRS, but Condor believes additional
field reconnaissance and residential interviews regarding possible pumping wells is needed to verify
whether or not pumping wells are influencing the groundwater gradient at the site.
LIMITATIONS
This report was prepared under the direct supervision of a Registered Geologist in the State of California.
The standard of care for all services performed or furnished by Condor is commensurate with the care and
skill ordinarily used by a member of the environmental profession practicing under similar conditions at
the same time in the same locality.
