All other analytes reported in ug/L
+Insufficient water to sample
1 MW-1 contained 1,370 ug/L of MTBE, an significant decrease from last quarter's
sampling event, in June, 2001, in which MW-1 had a concentration of 13,000 ug(L. MW-
2, showed an increase in MTBE since last quarter. MW-3 was "ND" for all constituents.
' MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6 were unable to be sampled due to insufficient water in the
well. MW-7 had a significant decrease in the concentration of MTBE from 26,500 to
14,200 ug/L. MW-8 was ND for all analytes tested. MW-9 showed decreases in all
chemicals. Past analytical data are listed in Table 2 for comparison. Appendix A
contains the laboratory analytical data and Chain of Custody report.
' The monitoring wells will be measured, purged and sampled again next quarter, and a
new gradient calculated.
' As discussed in a site meeting on April 25, 2001, it would appear that interim mitigation
in the form of soil gas vapor extraction, etc. may be advisable. A meeting should be
' scheduled to discuss the options.
' 2
