This first quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring report includes a description of groundwater monitoring <br /> conducted by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc. This report has been submitted to the SJCEHD and the CRWQCB as indicated above. <br /> The following are shown in Figures 1 through 5, which are attached to this report: <br /> • site location <br /> • site map <br /> • groundwater-elevation contours and gradient <br /> • historical groundwater gradients <br /> • shallow monitor well methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) isoconcentration contours <br /> Also attached are the following: <br /> • site background information <br /> • historical groundwater monitoring data <br /> • groundwater monitoring field forms <br /> • laboratory analytical results <br /> FIELD OBSERVATIONS <br /> On March 4, 2004, a Condor representative was on site to measure water levels and collect groundwater <br /> samples from monitor wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-4R, MW-6 through MW-11, and EW-1. The locations <br /> of the monitor wells are shown to Figure 2, attached. Yield observations included water level <br /> measurement, appearance of samples (color, clarity, and presence of petroleum product sheen or phase in <br /> samples), and collection of water quality field parameters.
