This first quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring report includes a description of groundwater monitoring conducted by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc. (Condor) at the above referenced site (Figure 1, attached) on March 4, 2004. This report has been submitted to the SJCEHD and the CRWQCB as indicated above. The following are shown in Figures 1 through 5, which are attached to this report: • site location • site map • groundwater-elevation contours and gradient • historical groundwater gradients • shallow monitor well methyl tertiary-butyl ether(MTBE) isoconcentration contours Also attached are the following: • site background information • historical groundwater monitoring data • groundwater monitoring field forms • laboratory analytical results FIELD OBSERVATIONS On March 4, 2004, a Condor representative was on site to measure water levels and collect groundwater samples from monitor wells MW-2, MW-3, MW-4R, MW-6 through MW-11, and EW-1. The locations of the monitor wells are shown to Figure 2, attached. Yield observations included water level measurement, appearance of samples (color, clarity, and presence of petroleum product sheen or phase in samples), and collection of water quality field parameters.
