Boyett Petroleum July 27, 2000
419 Main Street, Manteca, C4
Groundwater Sampling Report- June, 2000
Summary of Analytical Findings
This quarter, detectable contamination levels was identified in the monitoring wells listed
below:
Analyte NIW-I NIW-2 I%IW-3 N1W
-4
.......... . .........
Gasoline*
...........
... .......
N.
Benzene
.............
Toluene
...........
..... ..........
M.I
Ethyl Benzene ...... -- -------- . .....
..........
7-
Total Xylenes
....... .........
. .........
MTBE
.. ..............
4
9
.0
ND-"None detected" at or above Reporting Limit
* Reported m m&'L. All uffier analytes reported m ug/L.
MW-1 contained 770 ug/L of MTBE, a decrease from last quarter in which MW-1 had a
concentration of 11,600 ugfL. Since the last quarter monitoring event in March, 2000, the
concentration of MTBE has increased in MW-2, MW-3, and MW-4. The highest
concentration of MTBE is found in MW-3 this quarter as opposed to MW-1 last quarter.
All contaminates except MTBE and Benzene are below the State of California maximum
contaminate limits for groundwater. Past analytical data are fisted in Table 2 for
comparison. Appendix A contains the laboratory analytical data and Chain of Custody
report.
The monitoring wells will be measured, purged and sampled again next quarter, and a
new gradient calculated.
2
