The results of this investigation will be used to define the
groundwater contamination plume and to determine an effective mitigation strategy.
1 2.0 Site Description and History
' SC&D Boyett Petroleum is located in Manteca (Figure 1). The property is identified as
Parcel 23 in Book 9, on Map 2 of the Baccilieri Park Addition. The Assessor Parcel
Number (APN) is 219-38-23 in San Joaquin County. The four (4) sleeves collected were composited into two (2) soil
' samples for analysis at the laboratory. Those two (2) samples are representative of the
approximately 44 cubic yard of material stockpiled. All samples collected during this event
were sealed, labeled, logged on a Chain of Custody and cooled in a ice chest with Blue
Ice® to await transportation to the certified laboratory.
_ The soil samples submitted for analysis from both the stockpiled soils and the dispenser
locations were analyzed for gasoline by EPA method M 8015, BTX&E along with MTBE
were analyzed by EPA method 8020.
