STOCKTON November 13, 2017 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> The 55 gallon black steel drum storing used oil filters were onsite longer than one year. According to Bob Allen, the <br /> used oil filters are taken with American Waste Oil, at the same time as they take the used oil, but have not taken the <br /> filters in the past three years. Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up <br /> to one year. Facilities that generate one ton or more of used oil filters may store the filters for up to 180 days. <br /> Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD. <br /> The used oil filter drum was onsite without an accumulation start date. Used oil filters shall be drained of <br /> free-flowing oil, stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,'and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. Immediately mark the date and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, within 30 days of receipt of this report. <br /> Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br /> information online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
