IW!� <br /> Client Contact Ligaya Reyes CHP (916)375-2936 <br /> Site Safety Officer: The SSO is responsible for briefing site personnel on potential physical and <br /> chemical hazards prior to work start-up, during operations, and whenever other health and safety <br /> matters need to be addressed. The SSO will be in charge of conducting the daily Tailgate Safety <br /> Meetings. The SSO will see that this SHSP is available onsite and is understood and signed by <br /> personnel entering the site. The SSO is also responsible for implementing emergency response <br /> procedures when necessary. In the event the SSO is unable to perform these duties, the Alternate SSO <br /> will be responsible. <br /> Project Manager: The Project Manager (PM), in coordination with the SSO, is responsible for <br /> implementing health and safety requirements, including seeing that the SHSP is prepared and available <br /> onsite. The PM is the central point of contact for the SSO, Client, and Field Personnel, and has overall <br /> responsibility for site operations. <br /> Field Personnel: Field Personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with this SHSP. <br /> Field Personnel include both Alton employees and Subcontractors hired by Alton Geoscience. Field <br /> Personnel are required to participate in briefings prior to commencement of site work; attend daily <br /> Tailgate Safety Meetings; and acknowledge receipt and understanding of the SHSP by signing the <br /> Compliance Log at the end of this plan. <br /> 2 <br />
