EXHIBIT C <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> GLEASON PARK APARTMENTS <br /> The following Tasks will be completed as part of this Agreement: <br /> TASK 1. Land Use Covenant. <br /> (a) Soil Management Plan. The Proponent will submit to DTSC a Soil <br /> Management Plan for review and approval. The Soil Management Plan <br /> shall outline how any contaminated soils brought to the surface by <br /> grading, excavation, trenching or backfilling shall be managed in <br /> accordance with all applicable provisions of state and federal law. The <br /> Soil Management Plan shall include reference to a Health and Safety <br /> Plan that protects anyone that has the potential to come into contact <br /> with contaminated soils at the site. <br /> (b) Land Use Covenant. DTSC will draft a Land Use Covenant, which <br /> includes reference to an approved Soil Management Plan, for submittal <br /> to the City of Stockton Revitalization Department. The Land Use <br /> Covenant is to be signed by the current Property owner and returned to <br /> DTSC for signature. The DTSC-signed Land Use Covenant will be <br /> returned to the City of Stockton Revitalization Department and current <br /> Property owner for recordation with the local County <br /> Assessor/Recorder's office. <br /> TASK 2. No Further Action Letter. Upon receipt of a copy of the recorded Land Use <br /> Covenant DTSC shall issue a No Further Action letter to the City of Stockton <br /> Revitalization Department and to Mercy Housing California. <br /> 1 of 2 <br />
