❑ APPLICATION PROCESSING <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL The County will decide if the proposal will have an <br /> REVIEW adverse effect on the environment . If there are no <br /> adverse effects, the application will be processed. <br /> If there are potential adverse effects , further <br /> environmental review will be required. This may <br /> extend your processing time. <br /> REFERRALS AND Staff will refer the application to any County <br /> APPROVAL departments, other agencies , and surrounding prop- <br /> erty owners affected by your proposal . At the end <br /> of a review and referral period of about 2 weeks, <br /> the Planning Director will approve your application <br /> if he can make the required findings. If the <br /> Director cannot make the required findings , the <br /> application will be denied. <br /> NOTIFICATION The Planning Division will send a notice of the <br /> action to you. <br /> FINAL APPROVAL The action of the Director can be appealed to the <br /> Planning Commission. This action is final unless <br /> appealed. For further information on the length of <br /> the appeal period, contact the Planning Staff . <br /> ❑ OBTAIN ANY PERMS NECESSARY TO START YOUR PROJECT <br /> The Planning Division will send you the application giving the final <br /> action and listing all conditions , if approved. The subdivision is <br /> not complete until a Parcel Map has been recorded with the County <br /> Surveyor . <br /> ❑ FINDINGS REQUIRED FOR APPROVAL <br /> For your information, prior to approving an application for a Minor <br /> Subdivision, the County must make the following findings : <br /> 1 . The proposed map is consistent with applicable General and <br /> Specific Plans . <br /> 2 . The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is con- <br /> sistent with applicable General and Specific Plans. <br /> 3 . The site is physically suitable for the type of development. <br /> 4 . The site is physically suitable for the proposed density of <br /> development . <br /> Minor Subdivision - 2 - (6/86 ) <br />
