Brake Rebuilders 2325 West Charter Way 1 U Stockton, CA Dear Ms. Sullivan, I am writing on behalf of DeltaKeeper requesting access to certain material in the possession of the San Joaquin County Department of Public Health -Environmental Health Division for the purposes of inspection and copying pursuant to our rights under the California Public Records Act(Government Code Section 6250, et seq.). DeltaKeeper, a project of the San Francisco BayKeeper, is an organization dedicated to protecting the health of ecosystems and communities of the San Francisco Bay and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Estuary. The information that we ask to inspect is as follows: all documents complaints, sampling data, maps and other writings pertaining to Q.B. Brake Rebuilders 2325 West ChartStockton, CA, in the possession of the San Joaquin Department of Public ea - nntal Health Division. This request reasonably describes identifiable records, or information produced therefrom, and we believe that there is no express provision of the law exempting these records from disclosure. Accordingly,pursuant to Government Code Section 6257,we ask that you make these records "promptly available,"to us. San Francisco BayKeeper is a 501(c)(3)tax-exempt non- profit organization, consequently we request that fees associated with "costs of duplication,or statutory fees" be waived according to Government Code Section 6253.1,which permits an agency to waive or reduce its fees to allow greater access to records than prescribed by the minimum standards set fourth in the Section. If your agency is unable to waive these fees and costs,please provide an estimate of costs, if any,to Leo O'Brien, Legal Director, San Francisco BayKeeper, P.O. To the extent that a portion of the information I have requested is exempt by express provision of law, Government Code Section 6257 additionally requires you to segregate and delete that material so that the remainder of the information may be provided to satisfy our request. If you determine that an express provision of law exempts from disclosure all or a portion of the material we have requested, Government Code section 6256 requires a determination and notification to us of"the reason therefor"no later than 10 days from your receipt of this request.
