The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for RIG MASTER TRUCK REPAIR INC as of February 18, 2020. <br /> Open violations from December 09, 2019 inspection <br /> metering shutdown devices, loss of pressure actuated shut-off devices)that are visually inspected for leaks on a <br /> daily basis. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Have a qualified Professional Engineer prepare a tank assessment for each tank. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. Provide a copy of all tank assessments,when available. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#507-Failed to conduct daily inspections of hazardous waste tank system and maintain records <br /> onsite. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has a hazardous waste tank but does not have three years of complete daily tank <br /> inspection records. <br /> Note: Operator could not provide daily tank inspection records for one 1000 gallon used oil tank and one 500 gallon <br /> waste antifreeze tank. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a)The owner or operator shall inspect,where present, at least once each operating day: <br /> (1)overfill/spill control equipment(e.g.,waste-feed cutoff systems, bypass systems, and drainage systems)to <br /> ensure that it is in good working order; <br /> (2)the aboveground portions of the tank system, if any, to detect corrosion or releases of waste; <br /> (3)data gathered from monitoring equipment and leak-detection equipment, (e.g., pressure and temperature <br /> gauges, monitoring wells)to ensure that the tank system is being operated according to its design; <br /> (4)the construction materials and the area immediately surrounding the externally accessible portion of the tank <br /> system including secondary containment structures(e.g., dikes)to detect erosion or signs of releases of hazardous <br /> waste (e.g.,wet spots, dead vegetation); and <br /> (5)for uncovered tanks,the level of waste in the tank, to ensure compliance with section 66265.194(b)(3). <br /> (c)The owner or operator shall document in the operating record of the facility an inspection of those items in <br /> subsection (a)of this section. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately start conducting and documenting complete daily hazardous waste tank <br /> inspections. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(EHD)within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br />
