(AGE) on behalf <br /> of the responsible party, Mr. Swaran Chouhan. <br /> San Joaquin County Local Over-Site Program staff determined the Site to be eligible for closure <br /> and notified the Responsible Party on 14 April 2015. A Fact Sheet was distributed on 15 May <br /> 2015 notifying the recipients that the Site was being considered for a finding of closure and <br /> inviting public comment; the public comment period ended on 15 July 2015. No comments were <br /> received by San Joaquin County staff during the 60-day public comment period, and no <br /> comments were received by Regional Water Board staff. Regulatory oversight of this case was <br /> transferred to the Central Valley Water Board on 1 July 2015. <br /> A summary of the findings follows: <br /> 1. The Super Center Mart, former K & S Gas and Grocery, is located at 701 East Charter Way, <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin County (Site). A site location map is included as Figure 1. The Site <br /> is located on the northeast corner of Charter Way and Stanislaus Street, in a commercial <br /> area. The property is developed as a fueling facility and convenience store. A site plan <br /> map is included as Figure 2. <br /> 2. On 13 February 1998, two 12,000-gallon unleaded gasoline Underground Storage Tanks <br /> (USTs) and one 1,000-gallon premium unleaded gasoline UST were removed from the Site. <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in soil samples collected from below the two <br /> gasoline USTs at concentrations up to 1,400 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg).
