(Cambria) prepared this letter on behalf of Equiva
Services LLC to add to the scope of work described in our July 26, 2001 Soil Remediation Work
Plan. The scope of work presented in this addendum will comply with San Joaquin County
Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (SJCPHS/EHD) and Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB)guidelines.
Two soil vapor extraction.(SVE)wells (VE-1 and VE-2) were installed on November 16, 2001 at
the locations shown on Figure 2. Cambria conducted a 5-day SVE pilot test November 26
through 30, 2001. Based on the results of this pilot test, which will be submitted under separate
cover, Cambria proposes to install an additional SVE well and conduct further SVE tests.
WORK PLAN ADDENDUM
Permits: As discussed with Harlin Knoll of SJCPHS/EHD, existing drilling permit
No. 00244736 will be used for this scope of work, as the work is onsite and Gregg Drilling will
be the contractor. The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District does not require permits
for SVE tests.
