CAMBRIA
Well Development and Sampling: Blaine Tech Services, Inc. (Blaine) of San Jose, California
will develop the new wells, gauge groundwater depths, collect groundwater samples, and submit
the samples to a State of California certified laboratory for analyses.
Chemical Analyses: Groundwater samples and selected soil samples will be analyzed for
TPHg, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, and MTBE by EPA Method 8260.
Groundwater samples will also be analyzed for methanol, ethanol, tertiary amyl methyl ether,
ethyl tertiary butyl ether, tertiary butyl alcohol, di-isopropyl ether, 1,2-dichloroethane, and
ethylene dibromide by EPA Method 8260.
F
Report Preparation: Following the receipt of analytical results from the laboratory, Cambria
will prepare a written report which will include field procedures, laboratory results, boring
logs, conclusions, and recommendations. This report will'be submitted by February 12, 2001.
SCHEDULE
Cambria is prepared to begin work upon approval of this work plan by SJCPHS/EHD and
receipt of an access agreement. As discussed above, field work is currently scheduled in
December 2000 and January 2001, and our report of findings will be submitted by
February12, 2001 as requested by the RW CB. This schedule assumes that E uiva receives a
jfully executed access agreement in a timely manner. If this does not occur, Cambria will
request that the schedule be revised accordingly.
I
i
1346 5
