f <br /> CAMBRIA <br /> March 26, 1999 <br /> Mr Harlin Knoll <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Over-excavation Work Plan Addendum <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 420 West Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California <br /> WIC #204-4416-0202 <br /> Dear Mr Knoll <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this work plan addendum on <br /> behalf of Equtva Services LLC (Equiva) in response to San Joaquin County Public Health <br /> Services (SJCPHS) concerns about soil and water disposal during tank pit excavation <br /> activities The scope of work presented in this work plan addendum will comply with <br /> SJCPHS and Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) guidelines <br /> WORK TASKS <br /> Soil Disposal Soil excavated from the tank pit will be stockpiled on-site Cambria will <br /> collect one soil stockpile composite sample (consisting of four sub-samples) for every 250 <br /> cubic yards of soil removed during excavation activities Stockpile samples will be submitted <br /> to a California-approved laboratory for chemical analysis for total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> as gasoline (TPHg) by EPA Method 8015 (Modified), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and <br /> xylenes (BTEX) by EPA Method 8020, and total lead by EPA Method 6010 A rush <br /> turnaround tune frame will be requested for stockpile sample results <br /> Cambria will submit sample results to Forward, Inc (Forward) in Stockton, California and <br /> Equl.lon Enterprises LLC in Houston, Texas Upon approval, the soil will be transported to <br /> Forward's Manteca, California landfill by Manley and Sons Trucking of Sacramento, <br /> Oakland CA California <br /> Sonoma CA <br /> Portland OR <br /> S e a t t I e WA Water Disposal Cambria will arrange for Crosby and Overton of Oakland, California to <br /> remove any accumulated rain water from the tank excavation using a vacuum truck Crosby <br /> Environmental <br /> Cambria and Overton will transport the water to the Martinez Refining Company where it will be <br /> r oology,Inc recycled <br /> erkms Street <br /> P 0 Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(7o7)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
