Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Workplan for Subsurface <br /> Assessment" dated May 8, 1995, prepared by Fugro West, Inc. <br /> (Fugro) , for the above referenced site . The work plan is approved <br /> subject to the following comments . <br /> PHS/EHD has clarified with Fugro that the length of the slotted <br /> screen will be 20 feet with approximately 10 feet below groundwater <br /> and 10 feet above groundwater. In addition, it was stated that a <br /> minimum of 3 soil samples collected from the :. 10" diameter boring <br /> which is to be converted to a monitoring well will be submitted for <br /> chemical analysis also. All soil samples to; be analyzed by the <br /> ! laboratory will be undisturbed samples collected in the original <br /> brass tubes inside the split-barrel sampler. <br /> i <br /> 1 <br /> A permit application and ' $8-9 permit fee must be submitted to <br /> PHS/EHD. The work can be scheduled as soon as the permit is issued <br /> by PHS/EHD.
