System and the Munsell Soil Color Charts Encountered <br /> lithology is described on the exploratory boring logs presented <br /> in Appendix B Soil samples were collected at five-foot <br /> intervals for hthologic description, potential chemical <br /> analysis, and head-space analysis Soil samples were screened <br /> for the presence of organic vapors using a photo-ionization <br /> detector (PID) PID readings are recorded on the boring logs <br /> Number of Borings Four soil borings (SB-1 through SB-4) Boring SB-2 was <br /> converted into groundwater monitoring well MW-5 Boring <br /> and well specifications are described in Table 1 and their <br /> locations are shown on Figure 2 <br /> Boring Depths 60 to 70 fbg <br /> Groundwater Depths.
