a <br /> C A M B R I A <br /> June 15, 1999 <br /> Karen Petryna �a , <br /> Equiva Services LLC <br /> Post Office Box 6249 <br /> Carson, California 90749-6249 'JUN 1 200 <br /> Re Limited Phase I Environmental Assessment and <br /> Sensitive Receptor Survey Report <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 420 West Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California 95240 Project No. <br /> Incident No 98995525 RPT--V _PF Dl; <br /> SAP Code 135445 <br /> 1 2 3__4 5 6— <br /> Dear Ms Petryna <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Cambna Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambna) has prepared this report to document the <br /> findings of the Limited Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) and a sensitive receptor <br /> survey conducted for 420 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi The purpose of this assessment was to <br /> • identify recognized environmental conditions, if any, associated with the subject property <br /> According to ASTM Practice E 1527-97, Section 1 1 1, the term recognized environmental <br /> conditions means the presence or likely presence of any hazardous substances or petroleum <br /> products on a property under conditions that indicate an existing release, a past release, or a <br /> material threat of a release of any hazardous substances or petroleum products into structures on <br /> the property or into the ground, ground water, or surface water of the property The assessment <br /> was a limited review of the subject property based upon site observations and off-site research <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> • The subject property is currently a temporarily out-of-service Shell-branded gasoline station <br /> Oakland CA located on the southeast corner of West Kettleman Lane and South Hutchins Street The <br /> Sonoma CA subject property has been used as a gasoline station since approximately 1968 when the <br /> Portland OR <br /> Seattle WA UST's were installed Contractors were working at the subject property at the time of the site <br /> visit, installing upgraded gasoline pumps and generally improving the station for business <br /> Cambria The mini-mart and repair service appeared to be operating <br /> Environmental <br /> Technology,1nc 0 Review of public agency files identified the following 10 listings within a 114-mile radius of <br /> `04 65th Street the subject property Of these listings, one was on the Cortese database that lists sites with <br /> Suite B contaminated groundwater from underground storage tank (UST) releases, and two were on <br /> oakland CA 94608 the Leaking UST(LUST)database <br /> Tel (5to)420-0700 <br /> Fax(510)420-9170 <br />
