1 <br /> Project No S8080-06-01C <br /> August 31, 1994 <br /> ' INTERIM ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT REPORT <br /> SECTION ONE INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE <br />' INTRODUCTION <br />' This report presents the results of the limited research and field activities performed by <br /> Geocon Environmental Consultants relative to the former Texaco service station site located <br /> at the southwest corner of West Lodz Avenue and South Hutchins Street in the city of Lodi, <br />' California The services were performed in general accordance with Tasks 1,2, 3 and 6 of the <br /> Scope of Work prepared by the Client, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) <br />' and Geocon's "Proposal" (Proposal No S-1131) dated June 23, 1994 <br /> The report summarizes the previous field exploration and interim remediation activities <br />' performed by Uriah Incorporated and EPM Technologies at the subject site Preliminary <br /> information relating to the lateral and vertical extent of petroleum hydrocarbon impacts to the <br />' soil and groundwater beneath the site are presented in general accordance with the following <br />' guidance documents <br /> "Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and <br />' Investigation of Underground Tank Sites,"prepared by the Tri-Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board Staff, dated August, 1990 <br />' "Appendix A - Reports, Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation of Underground Tank Sites,"prepared <br /> by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board Staff, dated <br /> August, 1991 <br /> - 1 - <br />
