The investigation',, purpose was to <br /> look for geophysical mcacations of buried tanks, trenches when , tanks may have <br /> been buried, and s bandoned product lines. James Rezowalli, Principal <br /> Geophysicist, and Erich Ortega, Technician, of J R Associates performed the field <br />' investigation on October 25, 1994. <br /> A. Site r �a <br /> The site cons,-,t3 of a sandwich shop and its associate parking and planting <br /> areas Geocon provided us information indicating a service station occupied the <br /> site from the 1920's until 1980. Over the years, two different structures <br /> associated with the station were built and torn down. Sandb(,--:i maps from <br /> 1926 and 1950 showed a "gas and oil" structure in the northez et corner of the <br /> site (Drawing 1) This structure occupied the corner of the site until 1957 In <br /> 1957 the original structure was tarn down and replaced with a larger building <br /> The new building occupied the eastern part of the site until it was torn down in <br /> 1980. The three fuel storage tanks associated with the new b,.ilding were <br /> ' 1 <br />
