STOCKTON, CA
Vicki,
The results of the Third Quarter of 2006 Monitoring for MW 3 (down gradient well) at the H&H
Engineering and Construction are back. Greg Stahl at Ground Zero is working on the report,.
-but here is the short version.
None of the target compounds (TPHg, or BTEX) were detected. This is is the second
consecutive non detect for Benzene in MW-3 and the other target compounds have not been
detected in MW-3 for over a year now.
I do not know if you have had a chance to look at the Human Health Risk Screening.Evaluation
for Vapor Intrusion of Groundwater that Ground Zero Submitted for the site in June 2005. The
evaluation concluded the average concentrations of residual gasoline and benzene in the
groundwater do not exceed the screening levels for vapor intrusion concerns for commercial or
residential use.
The results of the 3rd quarter monitoring strongly indicate the plume has stabilized and the
results of the Vapor Intrusion Screen indicate the potential hazard from vapor intrusion is
below the screening. levels. The concerns the EHD identified in a letter dated April 4, 2006
have been addressed and we believe the site is ready for closure. i
i
Do you agree?
Thanks, i
Jan Thompson
Wilbur-Ellis Company
541 369-3624
C
9/7/2006 C
