This <br /> work plan is being provided pursuant to a request detailed in a correspondence issued by you on <br /> September 15, 2009. <br /> ' 4 <br /> The objective of the preliminary investigation will be to evaluate the lateral and vertical extent of f <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon impacts encountered beneath one of the diesel dispensers associated with <br /> the Recreation Vehicle (RV) refueling islands located in the north-central portion of the site. <br /> i <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description r <br /> The travel plaza is located at 1501,North Jack Tone Road in Ripon, California. Specifically, the site G <br /> is located at the northwest quadrant of the intersection of North Jack Tone Road and South 99 <br /> Frontage Road. A vicinity map is provided as Figure 1. } <br /> The site is developed with the Flying J Travel Plaza which includes a C-Store building and truck, <br /> automobile and recreational vehicle (RV) fueling islands. The remainder of the site is asphalt paved <br /> for parking and vehicle/truck access, with same landscaped areas, mostly around the perimeter.
