However, the greatest
improvement would be seen in wells VW#1 and VW#3. These wells are currently not producing
measurable hydrocarbon mass. The reconfiguration of the piping to these wells may result in only a
relatively small increase in additional hydrocarbon mass removal, and therefore, a reconfiguration of
the piping to these wells will not be made at this time.
Because the information requested of the claimant was received by this office in a timely manner and
the results of that information allowed for a resolution of the matter of the efficiency of the system at
the site, PHS/EHD requests the release of the suspended payment to the claimant.
For your information, the San Joaquin County District Attorney's Office has determined that Clearwater
Environmental, which has an injunction against them in Sonoma County, has no relationship or
affiliation with Clearwater Group, Incorporated,
If you need further information regarding this matter or wish to discuss this letter in more detail, please
contact Linda Turkatte, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3441.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Linda A.
