I
i
Revised Proposal and Estimated Budbet No. P15362.00
Ekholm Property, Esoalon, CA
F
I
The VET will be performed by applying a vacuum on the test well for a minimum of two hours
and measuring the extraction
well air flow rate and induced vacuum response at observation
wells. A sample of extracted hydrocarbon vapors will be collected at the start and finish of the
VET. The existing wells may be tested to determine any irregularities in induced vacuum
responses that may be seen due to soil inhomogeneities. Thekotron blower and carbon vessels
will subsequently be relocated to each observation well and 4nfluent air samples of extracted
vapors from each well will be collected after 1 hour of operation. Air samples will be submitted
with a chain-of-custody record to a State-certified laboratory, for analyses for the Presence of
BTEX and TPHG.
Task 7. Summary Report Preparation
` !1
' This task includes preparation of a report summarizing all work performed as outlined in tasks
2 through 6. This report will be prepared for submittal to the APCD, SJCPHS and the RWQCB
for review and approval. The report will detail test procedures followed, field data collected,
laboratory and field data analyses results, conclusions and recommendations. The report will
include a determination of the feasibility of vapor extraction as a remediation strategy, the
location and number of additional vapor wells if any are necessary, and an analysis of offgas
u abatement alternatives.
Please call if you have any questions regarding this estimatedlbudget or the proposed scope of
work.
I
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries, Inc.
Bill Channell
Senior Project Geologist
I
Enclosure: Estimated Budget (2 pages)
Work Authorization Agreement (2 copies)
1
I
0E
i
Ekholm Proposal Disk
P362-REV.2 4
