`t'11l E Working To Restore Nature <br /> i' <br /> 1710 Main Street `-7'� JUS- 14 P111 I ' 14 <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> July 13, 1994 <br /> Ms Linda Turkatte <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201 <br /> RE Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report, April through June 1994, Ekholm Property, <br /> 1702 Jackson, Escalon, California <br /> • Dear Ms Turkatte <br /> This correspondence is submitted on behalf of Mrs Margaret Ekholm to present the results of <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling at the above referenced site (Plate 1) <br /> Groundwater monitoring was conducted on June 14, 1994 by RESNA personnel Groundwater <br /> elevation data are summarized in Table 1 On June 14, 1994 static groundwater levels measured <br /> in the four site wells ranged from 67 77 to 68 25 feet below the tops of the well casings A <br /> gradient map for the June 14, 1994 monitoring event is shown on Plate 2 Well MW 1 was not <br /> included in the gradient calculations because the well casing is bent, therefore the groundwater <br /> elevation measurement in MW 1 may not reflect the actual water table elevation Groundwater <br /> flow on June 14, 1994 was to the west at a magnitude of 0 0014 ft/ft or approximately 7 4 feet <br /> per mile <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from wells MW1, MW2, MW3 and MW4 on June 14, <br /> 1994 Prior to sampling, at least four well casing volumes were purged from each well All <br /> purged water was contained in labeled DOT approved drums and stored on site pending <br /> laboratory analyses Groundwater samples were collected after stabilization of pH, electrical <br /> conductivity(EC) and temperature (Attachment 1) The samples were collected using dedicated, <br /> disposable bailers Subsequent to collection, the samples were placed on ice, secured, and <br /> transported under chain-of-custody protocol to State-certified Sequoia Analytical in Redwood <br /> City, California The water samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and <br /> xylenes (BTEX) utilizing EPA method 8020, total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) <br /> 1500471QUART-LYQQR 1994 FNL <br />
