10.0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> 10.1 System Design <br /> ' The design of the soil vapor extraction system should include engineering calculations, a list of <br /> equipment, materials, and instrumentation, preparation of construction Plans and Specifications <br /> ' including site and remediation compound layouts, trench and section details if appropriate, <br /> wellhead piping details, a process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID), and plan check and <br /> ' review <br /> ' 10.2 Vapor Extraction System Permitting <br /> A minimum of three permits will be required for the proposed system APCD Authority to <br /> Construct and Permit to Operate (ATC/PTO), a City Building Permit, and a City Fire <br /> ' Department Permit <br /> An ATC/PTO application should be completed and submitted to the APCD to allow for <br /> construction of the VES The application will include a site history, VES description, analytical <br /> 1 results for known pollutants, emissions rate calculations, and completion of APCD source and <br /> abatement device forms and other APCD forms <br /> ' The complete set of Plans and Specifications will also be submitted to the Cit Building, <br /> g, <br /> ' Planning and Fire Departments for review, comment and approval prior to construction and <br /> installation of the interim VES A permit for on site storage of the condensate collected in the <br /> ' condensate separator may also be required by the Fire Department <br /> ' 10.3 Vapor Extraction System Installation <br /> After construction Plans and Specifications are completed and approved, system installation can <br /> begin This would include installation of any necessary treatment compounds and fencing, <br /> installation of the off-gas abatement device, any necessary trenching and installation of piping, <br /> control valves, and electrical/instrumentation This task should also include any other <br /> 1500471REPORMCAP 0694 FNL 17 <br />
