1 <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN <br /> FOR <br /> EKHOLM PROPERTY <br /> 1702 JACKSON STREET <br /> ESCALON, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Mrs. Margaret Ekholm, RESNA Industries Inc (RESNA) has prepared this <br /> Corrective Action Plan (CAP) to remediate hydrocarbon-bearing soil at Ekholm Property, <br /> located at 1702 Jackson Street in Escalon, California This CAP summarizes previous <br /> ' environmental work and available data, presents a plan to remediate soil containing petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons underlying the site, describes the method for soil remediation, and presents a <br /> proposed schedule to complete the work <br /> 2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> ' 2.1 Site Description <br /> Ekholm Property is located in a commercial and residential area at 1702 Jackson Street, Escalon, <br /> ' California, as shown on the Site Location Map (Plate 1) The site consists of an abandoned lot <br /> with a single building The facility previously operated as a retail gasoline distribution facility <br /> ' The former underground gasoline storage tanks, the waste oil tank, the diesel tank and the <br /> building location are shown on Plate 2 <br /> 2.2 Proximity of Private. Municipal, and Irrigation Wells <br /> ' Well location data within a 112 mile radius of the site was obtained from the California <br /> Department of Water Resources (DWR) Well data revealed the presence of 9 wells including <br /> ' 1 domestic well, 1 industrial well, 3 municipal wells, 3 destroyed wells, and 1 other well The <br /> nearest well is a municipal well located approximately 100 feet northeast of the protect site <br /> 150047NREPORTSNCAP 0694 FNL 1 <br />
