Jahant Road
Clements, CA
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the Site Assessment Report and
Final Report dated August 23, 1991 submitted by William J. Hunter
and Associates and has the following comments.
It appears from the data presented in the report that the waste oil
tank re-excavation and the gas and diesel tank re-excavation has
removed the bulk of the contaminated soil.
The concentrations of the contaminants remaining in the excavations
do not warrant further remediation at this time based on the
application of the sampling results to the leaching potential
analysis as set forth in the LUFT Manual.
The disposition of the stockpiled soil generated from the re-
excavations still remains, as noted in the report. Please submit
for review a work plan detailing the disposal and/or remediation of
the above mentioned stockpiles by October 22, 1991.
If there are any questions, contact Linda Turkatte, EHS of my staff
at (209) 468-3442 .
Jogi Khanna M.D. , M.P.H.
Health Of er
ie A.
