SITE <br /> LODL CALIFORNIA <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> EnviroSearch is please to subnut to Geweke Properties the enclosed Progress Report <br /> attended to the overexcavation at the subject site Plate 1 shows the site location <br /> 2.Q BACKGROUND <br /> On March 31, 1990 one (1) 1,000 gallon unleaded fuel tank and one (1) 500 gallon <br /> waste oil tank were removed (see attached permit, analytical and Health Department <br /> notes) On October 26, 1990 there was an underground storage tank unauthonzed release <br /> (Leak/Contammation Site Report was completed, see attached) On March 7, Geweke <br /> received a letter from Public Health Services, San Joaquin County(see attached) in <br /> regards to investigation of the subject site <br /> 3.0 PROCEDURES <br /> In December 1994 excavation in the area of the former U S T was advanced <br /> laterally and vertically in a effort to remove the residual soil contamination The <br /> excavation was opened to 22 feet by 15 feet by 12 5 feet deep on the east side of <br /> excavation and 17 feet deep on the west side On December 22, 1994 Mr Steve Sasson <br /> with the San Joaquin County Local Health Department visited the site for the purpose of <br /> witnessing sampling in the excavation One sample was collected in a 6" brass tube placed <br /> 1 EnviroSearch <br />
