The submittal of this Workplan is in response to our <br /> telephone conversation on May 26, 1993 din which you detailed what <br /> would be required in the body of the Workplan. <br /> The field work is tentatively scheduled for June 8, 1993 . RTD <br /> would fully appreciate your cooperation,jin expediting this request <br /> and in taking time to review this Workplan. Any Comments that you <br /> may have will be gladly accepted and will be incorporated <br /> immediately into a revised Workplan to ensure regulatory <br /> compliance. <br /> SCOPE OF WORK i <br /> RTD proposes the following activities,: 1) Conduct a Soil Gas <br /> Survey, 2) Conduct Vacuum Extraction Feasibility Testing, and 3) <br /> Prepare a report outlining the procedures, data, evaluations, <br /> findings, and recommendations . Detail's of these activities are <br /> presented below. <br /> Soil Gas Survey i <br /> In order to investigate and characterize the general extent and <br /> distribution of possible hydrocarbon impacts to shallow soils, a <br /> limited Soil Gas Survey (SGS) is proposed. The SGS will generally <br /> consist of the installation of 16 temporary vapor extraction <br /> probes . The probes will be constructed of Schedule 80 3/4-inch <br /> diameter carbon steel pipe.
