This presentation of the data will allow for any trends at the
site to be evident to the reader. The additional data and the cost evaluation will ultimatley determine if
natural attenuation is the best course of action for the site.
3425 N. Tracy Blvd., Tracy ARCO Facility # 2093
PHSIEHD contact - Harlin Knoll
Operation of the vapor extraction system began on January 6, 1996. All the vapor extraction
wells are open but there are no hard data results available yet. Operation of the air-sparge
system will start once vapor concentrations have started to decline. The off-site delineation is
stili proceeding pending access from the property owners of the New Orleans Hotel. A second
letter requesting access has been sent to the property owners. Monitoring well ATR#12 is to
be abandoned when the off-site work is performed. Product is stili being removed from
ATR#8.
25775 Patterson Pass Road, Tracy ARCO f=acility #6100
PHSIEHD contact - Margaret Lagorio
Future work at this.site will be determined at a later date.
S01 W. Kettleman Lane, Lodi ARCO f=acility #434
PHSIEHD contact - Margaret Lagorlo
With sufficient data and justification this site may receive regulatory closure. ARCO does not
want to drill confirmation soil borings at this time. It was discussed that an estimate of the
amount of contaminants released could be made using groundwater and soil sample results
prior to site remediation and that this amount could be compared to the amount of
contaminants removed by the vapor extraction system to justify that further remediation was
not necessary.
3212 N. California, Stockton ARCO f=acility #2186
PHSIEHD contact - Steve Sasson
Results of the recent soil boring and monitoring well installation will be submitted in a report in
approximately 10 days.
Summary
The meeting allowed for continued communication between all parties and for continued progress at
the sites. It also allowed for a discussion of Risk Based Corrective Action and PHSIEHD's plans for
future program developments. The next meeting to discuss site progress was scheduled for Tuesday
April 30, 1996 at 1:30 p.m. at the office of PHSIEHD.
If you disagree with this summary or have any questions, please contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
r
Margaret Lagorio, REHS
Lead Senior
c: Elizabeth Thayer, CVRWQCB
C' Jay Johnson, EMCON c: Joel Coffman, B&C
