PHS/EHD
requested information regarding the operation of the system
and indicated that no notification of its start-up was
provided. PHS/EHD also stated that the report of the
installation of the additional offsite wells should be
submitted as soon as possible.
800 East Kettleman Lane, Lodi ARCO Facility #2076
PHS/EHD contact - Mary Meays
PHS/EHD was provided a copy of the "Fourth Quarter 1994 Status
Report" from EMCON. PHS/EHD indicated that the report would be
reviewed and PHS/EHD comments prepared.
3425 N. Tracy Blvd. , Tracy ARCO Facility #2093
PHS/EHD contact - Harlin Knoll
Groundwater and soil contamination exist both on and off site.
ARCO stated a vapor extraction system would be installed after
receiving an "Authority to Construct" from SJVUAPCD.
Construction should begin and be completed during the second
quarter of 1995. Onsite remediation will be on line and
operating by the third quarter of 1995 according to ARCO and
Brown and Caldwell. Offsite contamination in monitoring well
MW8 will not be incorporated into the initial system design
but will be monitored and managed in the future.
85 E. Louise, Lathrop ARCO Facility #6080
PHS/EHD contact - Linda Turkatte
The annual report was submitted and the wells show nondetect
levels.
