Monitoring was performed on September 28, 1994, by Groundwater Technology, Inc. (GTI). The remediation system data were collected by Brown and Caldwell personnel. This report was prepared under Task Order 434-94-5. There are six on-site monitoring wells (W-1A, W-2, W-2A, W-2B, W-3, and W-9) and eio bht off-site monitoring wells (W-4, W-5, W-6, W-7, W-8, W-10, W-11, and W-12) (Figure I). All monitoring wells were measured and sampled except W-2 (due to an obstruction), W-2A and W-4 (due to lack of water), and W-10 (well was not accessible). Because of the obstruction, well W-2 will be replaced in the fourth quarter of 1994. A work plan for the replacement of well W-2 was submitted to the County on March 23, 1994. Field and Analytical Methods GTI personnel measured depth-to-water, purged each well, and collected groundwater samples at the site. Static water-levels were measured prior to purging. Prior to sampling, the wells were purged of a minimum of three well casing volumes, or until evacuated, using a submersible pump or disposable bailer. After purging, each well was sampled using a disposable bailer. Field data sheets are included in Exhibit A. All groundwater samples were analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPH-G) by U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Methods 5030/8020 and 8015 Modified. This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was prepared. It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom it was prepared, and then only to the extent of the scope of work which was authorized. This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental t contamination beyond that described in this report erists at the site.
