a <br /> B R o w N A N o L <br /> C A L D W E L L r', ,'1 I F'11 1 07 <br /> August 15, 1994 <br /> Mr Chuck Carmel <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, California 94402 017-1318-0111 <br /> Subject First 1994 Quarterly Report for ARCO Station 434 <br /> 501 Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California Site Code 1341 <br /> Dear Mr Carmel <br /> This report presents groundwater monitoring results and summarizes the progress of the soil <br /> vapor and groundwater extraction and treatment operations for the first quarter of 1994 at <br /> ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Station 434, located at 501 Kettleman Lane in Lodi, <br /> California Monitoring, was performed on March 22, 1994, by Groundwater Technology, Inc <br /> (GTI) The remediation system data were collected by Brown and Caldwell personnel This <br /> report was prepared under Task Order 434-94-5 <br /> I There are six on-site monitoring wells (W-IA, W-2, W-2A, W-2B, W-3, and W-9) and eight <br /> off-site monitoring wells (W-4, W-5, W-6, W-7, W-8, W-10, W-11, and W-12) (Figure 1) <br /> All monitoring wells were measured and sampled except W-2 (due to an obstruction), W-2A <br /> and W-4 (due to lack of water), and W-7 (the tratfic control lid could not be removed) <br /> Because of the obstruction, well W-2 will be replaced in the near future As requested by the <br /> County of San Joaquin (County), a work plan for the well replacement was submitted to the <br /> County on March 23, 1994 <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> GTI personnel measured depth-to-water, purged each well, and collected groundwater samples <br /> at the site Static water levels were measured prior to purging Prior to sampling, the wells <br /> were purged of a minimum of three well volumes, or until evacuated, using a submersible <br /> pump or disposable bailer After purging, each well was sampled using a disposable bailer � <br /> Field data sheets are included in Exhibit A <br /> This report was prepared in accordance with the standards of the environmental consulting industry at the time it was <br /> prepared It should not be relied upon by parties other than those for whom a was prepared and then only to the <br /> extent of the scope of wort, which was authorized This report does not guarantee that no additional environmental <br /> contamination beyond that described in this report exists at the site <br /> Environmental Engineering And Consulting Ana4l cal Services <br /> 9616 NhcRo� A%ENLE P o Bo\ 13449 S %CRAMENTO CA 9)813 3J�tPEPC)RTS115191QTRRPT <br /> (916) 444 0123 F\r (916) 8)6 )2 7 7 <br />
