B R O W N A N D <br /> C A L D W E L L1 Z 13 <br /> March 23, 1994 <br /> Mr Chuck Carmel <br /> ARCO Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, California 94402 017-7484-01/1 <br /> Subject Fourth 1993 Quarterly Report for ARCO Station 434 <br /> 501 Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California Site Code 1341 <br /> Dear Mr Carmel <br /> This report presents groundwater monitoring results and summarizes the progress of the <br /> soil vapor and groundwater extraction and treatment operations for the fourth quarter of <br /> 1993 at ARCO Products Company (ARCO) Station 434, located at 501 Kettleman Lane <br /> . in Lodi, Calitornia Monitoring was performed on November 16 and 17, 1993, by Emcon <br /> Associates (Emcon) The remediation ,ystem data were collected by Brown and Caldwell <br /> personnel This report was prepared under Task Order 434-93-5 <br /> There are six on-site monitoring wells (WAA, W-2, W-2A, W-2B, W-3, and W-9) and <br /> eight off-site monitoring wells (W-4, W-5, W-6, W-7, W-8, W-10, W-1 1, and W-12) <br /> (Figure 1) All monitoring wells were measured and sampled except W-2 (due to an <br /> obstruction), and W-2A and W-4 (due to lack of water) Because of the obstruction, well <br /> W-2 will be replaced in the near future As requested by the County of San Joaquin <br /> (County), a work plan for the well replacement will be submitted to the County by <br /> March 23, 1994 <br /> Field and Analytical Methods <br /> Emcon personnel measured depth-to-water, purged each well, and collected groundwater <br /> samples at the site Static water levels were measured prior to purging Prior to sampling, <br /> the wells were purged of a minimum of three well volumes, or until evacuated, using a <br /> polyvinyl chloride bailer Atter purging, each well was sampled using a teflon bailer that <br /> was steam-cleaned between uses Field data sheets are included in Exhibit A <br /> r'his report was prepared in accordance wuh the standards of the environmental consulting indastn at the tune it was <br /> prepared It should not be relied stpon bti parties other than diose for whom a sba+prepared and then onh to the extent <br /> of the scope of wont which was ara horized This repoat does not guarantee that no additional enuraunewal <br /> . contamination be)ond that de.scnbed in tints repair eum at the site <br /> 74ii11K[;E 0k'CSV\0v91QTit RI'r <br /> tnwronr en tat Engi^eenng And CO 9sul rg Argll,ical Ser»css <br /> 9616 N11CR0% a�E\EF P 0 B \ 13449 $ VCRI�IE\TO CA 9)813 3449 <br /> 19161444 012 FSv (916) 8)6 )2 7 7 <br />
