959W�A <br /> H <br /> The following clothing shall be worn by all on-site personnel: <br /> 1. Hard hat with optional face shield. <br /> 2. Steel-toed boots. <br /> 3. Gloves. <br /> To prevent direct skin contact, the following protective clothing <br /> will be available for personnel working on site and shall be worn if <br /> deemed necessary by the on-site hydrogeologist: <br /> 1. Breathable tyvek coveralls or cotton coveralls. <br /> 2. Disposable vinyl gloves, changed between samples. <br /> 3. Goggles to guard against splash unless face shield is used. <br /> No eating, drinking, or smoking will be allowed within 50 feet of <br /> the drilling and sampling operations. No contact lenses will be worn <br /> by sampling personnel. <br /> t " <br /> First Aid <br /> On-site personnel will be informed of the symptoms related to <br /> exposure to significant concentrations of gasoline. Immediate <br /> symptoms include irritation of the respiratory passages; headache; <br /> dizziness; lightheadedness; uncoordination; nausea, vomiting; and <br /> eventually unconsciousness. In the event that any en-site' personnpZ <br /> 3' experience such symptoms, operations .vill be stopped and medical. <br /> t` attention will be obtained as required. <br /> First aid for zbemical exposure is as follows: <br /> r.irect Contact <br /> Skin---Remove contaminated clothing immediately. Flush <br /> affected area immediately with ample amounts of water, then <br /> wash with scan and water. <br /> Eyes--Hold the eyelid open and flush with copious amounts of <br /> . water. <br /> a C Inhalation <br /> Remove the victim to fresh air immediately; give artificial <br /> respiration as nE:cessary. <br /> In case of a ;major exposure of any kind, obtain medical help <br /> (a immediately.
