All sampling equipment and personnel must <br /> be decontaminated immediately. Disposable items (i.e., gloves) must be bagged for <br /> disposal. Sampling equipment w11 be washed with laboratory grade detergent, rinsed with <br /> 3 tap water, then rinsed with deionized water before reuse. Use soap, water and clean paper <br /> towuis to wash hands, arms and face prior to leaving site. <br /> Emergency Procedures <br /> In the event of an on-site emergency, the SSO, if possible, directs the course of <br /> action. It may be necessary for the SSO to depend on other on-site personnel for <br /> z assistance. As soon as practical, the SSO will contact the project manager. <br /> Documentation <br /> The implementation of the site safety and health plan must be documented to assure <br /> employee participation and protection. In addition, Broom and Caldwell must meet the <br /> regulatory requirements for record keeping on training, medical surveillance, injuries and <br /> illnesses, exposure monitoring health risk information, and respirator fit tests. <br /> Documentation for each employee's activities are maintained by the corporate health and <br /> safety officer in Sacramento, California. <br /> Documentation for the implementation of this plan is accomplished using the <br /> Attachments A through D. <br /> REFERENCES <br /> { <br /> 1.
