Box 5811 <br /> San Mateo, Califorrua 94402 <br /> Subject: Status Report, First Quarter 1994 <br /> ARCO Service Station 2076 <br /> 800 East Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California <br /> Mr Carmel <br /> At the request of ARCO Products Company(ARCO),RESNA Industries Inc (RESNA) and <br /> others are conducting an environmental investigation at the subject site (shown on Plate 1) <br /> We have prepared this status report on the work conducted during the first quarter 1994 <br /> Work included groundwater monitoring <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Work performed prior to this quarter included drilling nineteen soil borings and installing <br /> four groundwater monitoring wells and seven vapor extraction wells Residual hydrocarbons <br /> were analytically identified in soil samples collected from borings near the tank cavity and <br /> dispenser island <br /> RESNA performed a vapor extraction test on July 30, 1991 (RESNA, September 12, 1991) <br /> In November 1991, RESNA observed the removal of five gasoline-storage tanks and <br /> associated product lines and excavation of a new tank cavity (RESNA, June 26, 1992) <br /> ARCO's contractors installed new tanks in the tank cavity east of the station building in <br /> November 1991 <br /> ARCO initiated groundwater monitoring in October 1992 Results have indicated that <br /> dissolved hydrocarbons have not been detected in groundwater <br /> 0415ccar/30048-10 <br />
