Site background information and a summary of our most
recent field activities are included in KEI 's Site Investigation
Summary letter dated November 2 , 1993 , and .the MPDS Services, Inc.
report (MPDS-UN6015-04) dated December 7, 1995.
RECENT FIELD ACTIVITIES
On March 5, 1996, the nine existing monitoring wells (MW1 through
MW9) were destroyed by pumping neat cement grout into the well
casings. The grout was pumped under pressure from the total depth
of each well to the surface by the use of a 0. 5-inch diameter PVC
tremie pipe plumbed with a flexible hose to a grout pump. Mr.
Harlin Knoll of the San Joaquin County Public Health Services
(SJCPHS) was present during grouting of the wells.
DISTRIBUTION
A copy of this report should be submitted to the SJCPHS, and to the
Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region.
2401 Stanwell Drive,Suite 4 0
i
Concord,California 9452
Tel;510.602.5100 Fac:510.6870602
