Kettleman Lane
Lodi, CA
Public Health Services Environmental Health Division (PHD/EHD)
has reviewed Kaprealian Engineering's most recent report
entitled, "Continuing Ground Water Investigation at Unocal
Service Station #6015" and has the following comments:
1. The report does not indicate if prior to the
collection of the water samples, measurements
of temperature, conductivity, and pH are
being taken, as outlined in Appendix B of the
Luft Field Manual. If these parameters are
being checked the readings should be
included, if not, they need to be taken and
reported.
2. The recommendations of this report to remain
on the current quarterly sampling/reporting
of the existing nine monitoring wells is
viewed by PHD/EHD as acceptable at this time.
If you have any questions or concernsp please contact Steven
Schneider, RENS, of my staff at (209) 468-3441.
ogi Khanna, M.D. , M.P.H.
alth ffi er
Laurie A.
