We have examined sources
of these compounds in the past but have not been able to determine, a 4definite source,of
contamination For this reason, Sequoia Analytical is now conducting a detailed experiment titled
"Investigation of the Migration of Aromatic Compounds through Sample Container Seals" This
investigation will focus on outside sources of Toluene and Xylenes optermg environmental
samples It will also attempt to eliminate sources of contamrunation not related to gaseous
migration of contaminants We hope to have this investigation concluded prior to the end of
January, 1995 Thank you for your cooperation in the investigation and your attention to the
problem '
Very truly yours,
SEQUOIA ANALYTICAL
Belinda C Vega
Laboratory Director
