Mr. Rick Sisk
• Page 2 I
i
Unfortunately, as a result of the above mentioned concerns, PHS/EHD
can not issue partial (soil) closure of this site at this time. It
is recommended that to expedite reconsideration, a work
plan/proposal be submitted as soon as possible. The work plan
should focus on the issues outlined in this response.
As a side note, PHS/EHD staff recently spoke with Mr. Tim Ross of
Kaprealian Engineering regarding fecal coliform testing of MW-3 ,
MW-8, and MW-9, since they appear to be within 50 feet of sanitary
sewer lines. This issue had been discussed with Mr. Doug Lee at
the time of installation and is a requirement of San Joaquin
County' s well ordinance. Please include the results of the fecal
coliform testing in your next Quarterly Report.
Should you have any additional questions, concerns, or wish to
schedule well sampling, please contact Steven Schneider, Senior
R. E.H. S. , of my staff at (209) 468-3441.
Jogi Khanna,—M.D. , M.P.H.
Health Officer
• aur1.4I Oot -I s,XR .
