Site Assessment Work Plan <br /> FLAME MINI-MART <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane, Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request ofMr Pete Graffigna,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this Site <br />' Assessment Work Plan for investigation of Flame Mini-Mart located at 1301 West Kettleman Lane, <br /> Lodi, California (the site) The assessment will attempt to Isolate the source of the fuel additive <br />' (methyl-tertiary butyl ether or MTBE) release near the current fuel dispensing system through the <br /> collection of soil vapor samples In addition, the assessment will evaluate the extent of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon compound impacts to soil and ground water down-gradient of the documented UST <br />' release and evaluate the subsurface conditions during remediation feasibility pilot testing to <br /> determine placement of future soil and/or ground water remediation wells The site setting is <br /> illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures, soil borings and monitoring well Iocations are depicted on <br />' Figure 2 <br /> This work plan provides the scope of work and procedures to be Implemented for a soil vapor survey <br />' near the active underground storage tank(UST)system,advancement and installation of one shallow <br /> screened well for performance of a ground water extraction test,advancement and installation of one <br /> shallow and three deep screened wells for vertical assessment of ground water contamination <br /> The work plan was prepared in accordance with the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board (RWQCB) Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation and <br />' Investigation of Underground Tank Sites guidelines for the Investigation of UST sites <br />' 2.0. BACKGROUND <br />' The site Is located at the northwest Intersection of West Kettleman Lane and South Ham Lane in <br /> Lodi, Cahforma(Figure 1) The parcel is identified by the San Joaquin County Assessor's office as <br /> parcel numbers 031-040-05 and 031-040-60 and is located in the southwest portion of Section 11 <br /> of Range 6 East,Township 3 North,Mount Diablo Base and Meridian(Lodi South Quadrangle,7 5- <br /> Minute USGS Topographic Series 1968, photo revised 1976) <br />' 2 1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br />' The property Is presently occupied by Flame Mini-Mart, which consists of a one story mini-mart <br /> structure, a gasoline fueling facility and a car wash The gasoline fueling facility consists of three <br /> 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks (USTs), two fuel dispenser islands and a canopy The car <br /> wash is located along the western portion of the site <br /> • <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
