I <br /> Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2002 <br /> FLAME MINI-MART <br />' 1301 West Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 1301 West <br /> Kettleman Lane (the site), Lodi, California The scope of work included conducting a quarterly <br />' ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The site setting Is illustrated in <br /> Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted In Figure 2 <br />' This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines Issued by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region for Investigation of underground storage tank(UST) <br /> sites Site history and findings from previous Investigations at the site are summarized in the AGE- <br /> prepared Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999 <br /> In accordance with a telephone conversation with Mr Harlin Knoll of the San Joaquin County <br />' Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD)on 08 August 2002,a work plan addendum is included <br /> with this report in Appendix A to further assess the vertical extent of petroleum-Impacted ground <br /> • water in the area near MW-2, the lateral extent of impacted ground water south-southwest of well <br />' MW-2 and to assess the area east-northeast of the fuel dispensing area <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br />' On 30 May 2002, ground water monitoring was performed at the site on wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-4 Monitoring well construction details are summarized in Table 1 Ground water monitoring <br /> procedures for the site were outlined In Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999, <br />' prepared by AGE and approved by the SJCEHD by letter dated 07 July 1999 At the direction of the <br /> SJCEHD, MW-4 is sampled on a semi-annual basis <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION j <br /> j <br />' Depth to ground water was measured in each well from the top of the well casing to the nearest <br /> 0 01-foot utilizing a Solmst water level meter The ground water elevation In each well was <br /> calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation <br />' (Table 2) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3) <br /> After water levels were measured, approximately 6 to 6'/4 gallons of ground water (a minimum of <br />' three casing-water volumes per well) were evacuated (purged) from wells MW-1 through MW-4 <br /> . utilizing polyethylene disposable bailers Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured for j <br /> IAdvanced Geo Environmental,Inc <br /> I <br />
