1 <br />' Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2001 <br /> FLAME LIQUOR <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane <br />' Lodi, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Graffigna of Flame Liquor, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has <br />' prepared this quarterly report for the site at 1301 West KettIeman Lane,Lodi,California The scope <br /> of work included monitoring and sampling four ground water monitoring wells for petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons All four wells, MW-1,MW-2,MW-3 and MW-4,have been utilized for monitoring <br />' petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water associated with an unauthorized release ofpetroleum <br /> hydrocarbons from a UST system formerly located at the site Quarterly monitoring and reporting <br />' was required by the PHS-EHD by letter dated 01 November 1999 The site setting is illustrated on <br /> Figure 1 Locations of structures, borings, and monitoring wells are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are summarized in the AGE- <br /> prepared Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999 <br />' • 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> The work was performed in accordance with PHS-EHD and California Regional Water Quality <br />' Control Board-Central Valley Region guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and <br /> investigating underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> I <br /> 21 MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 05 June 2001, a Solinst water level meter was used to measure the depth to ground water in all <br /> four monitoring wells relative to the tops of the well casings After the depth-to-ground water <br /> Imeasurements were collected,the monitoring wells were purged using disposable polyvinyl chloride <br /> (PVC)bailers Approximately 7 gallons of water were evacuated from each of the monitoring wells, <br />' equivalent to three casing-water volumes per well <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured at 1 5-gallon intervals, using an ICM water <br /> analyzer to monitor pH, temperature and conductivity of the purged water The field data are <br /> summarized in tables in Appendix A, along with the field data logs Purged water was temporarily <br /> stored on-site in 55-gallon drums <br /> I <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
