INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Pete Graffigna,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br />' quarterly report for 1301 West Kettleman Lane (the site), Lodi, California The scope of work <br /> included conducting a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report, the <br /> objective of the work was to assess, characterize and monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon <br />' concentrations in groundwater and to calculate groundwater flow direction and gradient on-site The <br /> site setting is illustrated on Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted on <br />' Figure 2 <br /> This report has been prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the Central Valley Regional <br />' Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) <br /> sites <br />' History and findings from previous investigations at the site are summarized in Appendix A <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> Seven monitoring wells (MW-1 through MW-7)were monitored, purged and sampled in February <br /> 2005 Field work was performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Environmental Health <br /> Department (EHD) guidelines for sampling ground water monitoring wells and CVRWQCB <br /> guidelines for the investigation of UST sites <br /> 21 WELL MONITORING AND PURGE PROCEDURES <br />' On 17 February2005 the depth to ound water in the seven monitoring wells were measured from <br /> P P,i' <br /> the top of each well casing to the nearest 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter,ground water <br /> elevations for each well were calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the <br /> surveyed casing elevation (Table 1) After water levels were measured, approximately 4 5 to 5 5 <br /> gallons of water (a minimum of 3 casing-water volumes per well) were purged from monitoring <br /> wells MW-1 through MW-6 and approximately 17 gallons of water were removed from well MW-7 <br /> using a Watera hydrolift pump and dedicated tubing Ground water temperature,pH and conductivity <br /> were measured at regular intervals during purging using an Oakton water analyzer Field sheets and <br /> data are included in Appendix B Purged water was stored in properly labeled Department of <br /> Transportation (DOT)-approved 55-gallon drums and stored on-site <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
