Quarterly Report - Second Quarter 2003 <br />' FLAME MINI-MART <br /> 1301 West Kettleman Lane <br /> Lodi, California <br /> 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br />' Advanced GcoEnvlronmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this quarterly report for 1301 West <br /> Kettleman Lane (the site), Lodi, California The scope of work included conducting a quarterly <br />' ground water monitoring event and preparation of this report The site setting is illustrated in <br /> Figure 1 Site structures and monitoring well locations are depicted in Figure 2 <br />' The objective of the work was to monitor dissolved petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations an ground <br /> water and to characterize ground water flow direction and gradient on the site This report has been <br /> prepared in accordance with guidelines issued by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br />' Board(RWQCB)-Central Valley Region for investigation of underground storage tank(UST)sites <br /> Site history and findings from previous investigations at the site are summarized in the AGE- <br /> prepared Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999 <br /> 1 <br />' 2.0. PROCEDURES <br /> On 10 June 2003, ground water monitoring was performed at the site on wells MW-1 through <br />' MW-4 Monitoring well construction details are summarized in Table 1 Ground water monitoring <br /> procedures for the site were outlined in Preliminary Sate Assessment Work Plan, dated 30 June 1999, <br /> prepared by AGE and approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br />' (SJCEHD) by letter dated 07 July 1999 <br />' 2 1 WELL MONITORING AND EVACUATION <br /> Depth to ground water was measured in each well from the top of the well casing to the nearest <br />' 0 01-foot utilizing a Solinst water level meter The ground water elevation in each well was <br /> calculated by subtracting the measured depth to ground water from the surveyed casing elevation <br /> (Table 2) Ground water elevations were plotted and contoured on a scaled site map (Figure 3) <br /> After water levels were measured, approximately 6 gallons of ground water (a tntmmurn of three <br /> casing-water volumes per well)were evacuated(purged)from wells MW-1 through MW-4 utilizing <br /> a Watera hydro-lift pump Temperature, pH and conductivity were measured for stabilization at <br /> regular purge-volume intervals from each well using an Oakton water analyzer Field data and logs <br /> are included with Appendix A Purged ground water was containerized in S 5-gallon drums and was <br /> Istored on-site in an area lacking general public access <br />' Advanced GeoEnv:ronrtentsl,Inc <br />
