J6 <br /> 1. CONTAINER LABELING <br /> Containers of hazardous materials shall not be released for use until the following label <br /> information is verified: <br /> a) Containers are clearly labeled as to the contents. <br /> b) Appropriate hazard warnings are noted. <br /> The responsibility has been assigned to Richard Greer, General Manager or Efrain <br /> Cardenas, Shop Foreman. <br /> All secondary containers must be appropriately labeled. <br /> The above named person(s) will ensure that secondary containers are labeled with either <br /> an extra copy of the original manufacturer's label or with generic labels which have a <br /> block for identity and a block for the hazardous warnings. <br /> 2. MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEETS (MSDS) <br /> Copies of MSDS for all hazardous substances that employees of GB Industrial Spray, Inc. <br /> may be exposed to are kept in the manager's office. Nancy Bennett, Office Manager will <br /> be responsible for obtaining and managing the data sheet system for the company. <br /> Nancy Bennett, Office Manager will review incoming data sheets for new and significant <br /> health/safety information,passing any new information on to the effected employees. <br /> MSDS will be reviewed for completeness by Nancy Bennett, Office Manager. If an <br /> MSDS is missing or obviously incomplete, a new MSDS will be requested from the <br /> manufacturer. Cal/OSHA will be notified if a complete MSDS is not received. <br /> 2 <br />
